The players are seriously in demand by collectors worldwide and intact can command high prices. For the intrepid collector and restorer, this is a fine start in rebuilding one of these players. Also included are 5 Concert Cylinders still in original round containers. Estimated Value $400 - UP

Four-Sided Antique Oil Lamp from The Adams & Westlake Co. Chicago Boasting 4 High Relief Panels of Deer, Herons, an Owl and Swans. The Adams & Westlake Co. of Chicago or " ADLAKE" (name used for certain product lines) was founded in 1857 in Chicago and was a major manufacturer in America in the 19th and early 20th Century. The company was almost synonymous with oil lamps used in any number of ways from trains, automobiles, home lighting and mines. Here a decorative creation of their oil lamp where one of their standard kerosene lamps with reservoir fit snugly in base. Know this lamp was professionally re-wired for an electric bulb recently so be assured the plug and wiring are certainly safe as is the light socket itself. But the previous owner also located a wide wick burner that screws into the Adams & Westlake kerosene reservoir. But safe to say keeping the lamp electric is the safer mode of illumination. Comes with what appears to be the original molded glass top with three large hand-painted flowers surrounded by raised wagon wheels. This globe is 10" and is in miraculous intact condition, no cracks or chips. Also included is a modern glass chimney for those that prefer that look, but it doesn't seat all that well. Base alone is 10 x 7 x 7" and with hand-painted glass globe is 23" high and really impresses. Note: the globe sits perfectly on skirt of light fixture but not locked in place. Drilling a hole for a screw to lock lip of globe will remedy that. Fantastic antique by a Chicago Company whose name can still be seen faintly on some of the city's most iconic, early 20th Century buildings. Estimated Value $500 - UP

National Cash Register Model 317, Brass, Nickel, Marble and Glass Cash Register with "Amount Puchased" Placard Top Visible on Both Sides. National Cash Register Company (Dayton, Ohio), ca 1915-1922. A National brass counter top register, model 317, serial number S109833, with original brass plate, side receipt cage and oak base. In beautiful condition, this particular register has an original top panel that reads "Amount Purchased" on both sides. Height is 17", width 12" and is 16" deep. Total weight is 80 pounds. There is no key. Drawer opens when pushing a small post under the brass cover panel but the 10¢ key is stuck and just needs a quick repair. This register has a fine patina without dents or any evidence of damage, the marble clean, and the oak wood base with the thin makers plaque in good condition. A label underneath drawer indicates this was a second-hand sale and the printed label is a guarantee for service from the President of NCR, John H. Patterson, a hero to Dayton, Ohio for his overwhelming support of the city after the catastrophic flood of 1913. This likely places the second-hand register around 1915 to 1920. It was, according to the label, sold again in San Francisco. Estimated Value $400 - UP
